The Saatva Classic is the flagship of Saatva's luxury lineup and our No. 1 ranked mattress overall. It's a hybrid innerspring available in three different firmness levels: soft, luxury firm (aka medium), and firm. (Saatva says 80% of people choose luxury firm.) You can also choose the depth you want, ensuring a mattress that'll suit your space and mobility level.
A spine-aligning design and plush Euro pillow top work hard to keep your back, hips, and shoulders supported and cushioned, while the foam encasing around the mattress makes it reliably durable and will prevent it from sagging over time. Saatva RX
The Saatva Classic is the best hybrid mattress for people who have general aches and pains, but if you have chronic back pain and joint pain then we highly recommend the Saatva RX instead. Our lead tester, Alison, has mild scoliosis and chronic lower back pain and she found relief from the first night of sleeping on the Saatva RX mattress.
This 15" luxury hybrid mattress is more expensive than the Classic, but we feel the price is justified considering it's a specialist mattress with memory foam and dual layers of coils that help relieve pain associated with arthritis, sciatica, and scoliosis. Saatva describes the feel as 'Supportive Plush,' described as 3-4 out of 10 on the firmness scale. During testing, we felt it leaned more towards a medium-firm (7-8/10). As such, it could potentially be too unyielding for lighter sleepers – especially side sleepers with a body weight of under 150lbs.
For people of average to heavier weights with back pain, the Saatva RX is an excellent choice, even after a slight bump in MSRP. The current sale shaves $400 off, which yields solid savings for sizes below a queen. Saatva's 15% off sales yield bigger markdowns for larger sizes. Still, we think it's one of the best mattresses for back pain you can buy right now, especially when it's on sale.

Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid
The Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid has a similar level of responsiveness to the best-selling Saatva Classic but with more of a sink-in feeling that's characteristic of the best memory foam mattresses. This 11.5" hybrid consists of 8" pocketed comfort coils, a gel-infused lumbar crown, and a 1.5" layer of 'waved' memory foam for extra breathability. That makes it a good choice in the Saatva mattress sale for people who overheat during sleep.
The Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid is made from Premium AirCradle memory foam, which doubles down on a contouring feel for your curves. It's also an excellent choice of foam for relieving pressure points when you sleep on your side – hips, shoulders, and knees are comfy and cradled.
The LuxeCool system, while not on par with full-blooded cooling mattresses, is ample enough to regulate temperature and ensure air flows freely through the bed. As with the Saatva Classic, the Memory Foam Hybrid has a Patented Lumbar Zone Quilting to reduce back pain. Though again, the Saatva RX above is the best choice in the new Saatva mattress sale for people with back pain.
While the Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid remains the most affordable mattress in the brand's lineup, a price bump at the start of 2025 has brought it closer to the price of the Saatva Classic. Right now, a queen-size Saatva Memory Foam Hybrid is on sale for $1,599 (was $1,999). That's only $100 less than a Saatva Classic in the same size. Last year, the price differential between these two mattresses was as much as $250.

Saatva Loom and Leaf
High-density memory foam layers offer exceptional contouring support in the Saatva Loom & Leaf mattress. Saatva's Spinal Zone Gel is concentrated in the center third of the mattress for further support and spread throughout the rest of the mattress for a cooler sleeping experience. You also have two levels of firmness to choose between, with Relaxed Firm (aka medium) being the most popular.
This handcrafted Saatva mattress is the best option for side sleepers as it contours to your curves, relieving pressure on your shoulders, hips, and knees when you curl up on your side. During testing, we found that the Loom & Leaf's specialized lumbar support and body-contouring foam work together incredibly well to relieve pressure and keep your spine in proper alignment.
The Loom & Leaf reduced pain in our lead tester from the first night, and while the Saatva RX is the best option for back pain, Saatva's Loom & Leaf is better for lighter-weight bodies with general aches and pains.
Thanks to excellent motion isolation, we also recommend the Saatva Loom & Leaf as a great choice for couples who normally wake each other up with their in-bed movements. However, if you sleep warm, go with the newer Saatva Contour5 instead as the Loom & Leaf traps heat — both cost the same after $400 off.

Saatva Latex Hybrid
If you're looking for the comfort and durability of a luxury natural latex mattress but still want the contouring support of coils, the Saatva Latex Hybrid is worth considering. A responsive latex layer provides back support and pressure relief, while individually wrapped coils contour to give your body extra support.
The coils also minimize motion transfer, making the Latex Hybrid a good choice for anyone with a restless partner too. There's a breathable cotton cover to prevent you from overheating as well. However, above all else the Saatva Latex Hybrid is an all-natural, organic mattress. It's naturally hypoallergenic, antimicrobial, and free of harmful chemicals.
Keep in mind that the MSRP for the Saatva Latex Hybrid has risen by as much as $200 for 2025. The current $400 off sale produces good deals for bed sizes smaller than a queen, but we advise waiting for a 15% discount to reap the best savings.
Saatva Zenhaven
The Saatva Zenhaven Latex is the brand's only dual-sided mattress. It's completely flippable – something we wouldn't recommend for the majority of other Saatva mattresses, which you should rotate only. The point of having a dual-sided mattress is that you can choose the best firmness level for your body: one side has a Luxury Plush feel and the other has a Gentle Firm feel.
Because the Zenhaven is made from natural latex, this is also an excellent choice for hot sleepers wanting a natural approach to quelling night sweat and hot flashes. Peri-menopausal and menopausal people will also benefit from sleeping on the breathable Zenhaven Latex mattress.
There's more to the Saatva Zenhaven Latex than cooling though – 5-zone latex is excellent for relieving pressure and providing weightless comfort during sleep. The only downside is that it's a little bouncy, so couples will experience more motion transfer here compared to other Saatva mattresses such as the Loom & Leaf.
For the lowest prices on the Saatva Zenhaven, wait for a Saatva 15% off flash sale. A $400 discount will still make a notable dent in MSRP, though.
Saatva Solaire
The Solaire Adjustable is one of the most premium mattresses Saatva has in its catalog. You pay a little more here, but with personalized firmness controls that allow people on both sides of the bed to choose the exact comfort level they want from 50 options, you get a lot for your money.
Technically an airbed, the Solaire has six layers of Talalay latex, gel-infused memory foam, organic cotton, vulcanised air chambers and moisture barriers, all of which support the slightly higher price tag as well. It's the most expensive of the entire range, so it's a good idea to take advantage of a Saatva mattress sale and grab this top-of-the-line product for a little less.
Like most of the mattresses here, the Saatva Solaire has increased in price, but in this case, it's only a matter of a few dollars. Wait for a 15% off sale to score the biggest savings.
Saatva HD
The Saatva HD is a luxury innerspring mattress designed for people weighing between 300lbs and 500lbs. That means it has a maximum weight capacity of 1,000lbs for you and your partner, placing it among some of the best mattresses for heavy people who want a bed with some bounce.
The Saatva HD is designed with tempered 12.5 gauge steel open coils that are 25% stronger than the industry standard, giving extra support and cooler sleep. There's also a five-zone Talalay latex layer that provides excellent comfort and relief across pressure points, and spinal support gel in the center third of the mattress.
The current $400 sale brings the price of a queen Saatva HD to $2,999 (was $3,399). However, wait for a 15% off flash sale to knock another $100 or so off the final price.
Saatva Contour5
Released in June last year, the Saatva Contour5 is Saatva's newest all-foam model. It has a 5lb memory foam core plus a layer of gel-infused foam with air channels for body-hugging support minus the heat retention. Similar to the incumbent Loom & Leaf foam mattress, the Contour5 has a specialized lumbar zone to help with alignment. It comes in either medium or firm, so you can tailor the feel to your liking.
We tested a medium Contour5 and both our side/back-sleeping lead tester and her stomach-sleeping partner found it exceptionally comfortable, with full-body contouring and pressure relief to ease the joints and spine. (Larger back and stomach sleepers may want to opt for the firm version.)
Unlike the Loom & Leaf, the Contour5 didn't leave our testers feeling hot and bothered. The organic cotton cover and specialist foams allowed the mattress to breathe and kept our reviewers at a comfortable temperature throughout the night. Motion isolation is also top-notch; our lead tester is a restless sleeper and her partner wasn't bothered by her movements.

The MSRP on Saatva mattresses fluctuates most months, with the cheapest prices arriving near major holiday sales such as Black Friday and Labor Day. This is how much Saatva mattresses cost this month:

We've been tracking Saatva mattress sales closely for five years. For Memorial Day 2025, Saatva offered $400 off all purchases over $1,000 with our semi-exclusive link, a repeat of the deal we saw in 2024. This reduced a queen Saatva Classic to $1,699 (was $2,099.)
For Black Friday 2024 and 2023, Saatva again cut $400 when you spent over $1,000. Last year, the sale price for a queen Saatva Classic was $1,695 (was $2,095). In 2023, it was $1,595 (was $1,995.)
Looking further back, for Black Friday 2022 Saatva offered a 15% discount on orders worth over $2,750, or a 10% discount on orders below that amount. That took the price of a queen-sized Classic down to $1,435 (from $1,595).
Four years ago, Saatva cut $200 off the price of its luxury mattresses when you spent over $1,000. That year, a queen-sized Classic dropped to $1,199 (from $1,399). However, that wasn't an especially remarkable offer. Saatva ran the same deal several times throughout the year, including on Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day — all big sales periods for mattresses.
Five years ago, the Saatva Black Friday mattress sale knocked $150 off mattresses. But MSRPs were lower then, too.
Saatva Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales history
Historically, Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the cheapest times to buy a mattress. In November and December last year, our semi-exclusive code knocked $400 off all mattresses with a value of $1K or more, reducing the cost of a queen size Classic to $1,695 (was $2,095).
But this wasn't the only deal at Saatva, as the main sale offered a chance to 'spend more, save more.' This tiered deal resulted in $300 off a queen Classic. In most cases, our $400 off deal netted the bigger saving, unless you had your eye on the spilt Solaire mattresses — for these, you could save up to $500.
Three years ago, Saatva kicked off its 'early access Black Friday sale' in mid-November, and it was still in place until the end of Black Friday. It knocked between $225 and $525 off the full adult mattress range, with the discounts increasing as prices went up. On Cyber Monday, the discounts went down a bit, ranging from $200 to a maximum of $500.
Four years ago, we saw $225 off all sizes of the Classic (apart from the Split King and the Split California King, which were reduced by $250). A queen size Classic cost $1,570. The Loom & Leaf and Latex Hybrid got a similar discount ($225 off, or $250 off larger sizes). A queen Loom & Leaf dropped to $1,970, and a queen Latex Hybrid to $1,820
However, Black Friday and Cyber Monday aren't the only time where you can save big on a Saatva bed. Memorial Day and Labor Day have both been good chances to save in recent years, while we saw $400 off again for Presidents' Day 2025.

How to spot the best Saatva mattress sales
Like many mattress brands, MSRPs have crept up on the Saatva range over the past 12 months or so, which means we're unlikely to see any all-time low prices in deals going forward. (We did see a queen Saatva Classic drop to $1,345 after $650 off during Labor Day 2023, but that appears to have been a targeted offer not available to everyone.)
However, the included extras help add to the overall value, especially when compared to other luxury brands. There's a 365-night sleep trial, lifetime warranty, free in-home delivery and free old mattress removal if you need it (Saatva is the only mattress brand we've come across that offers that last one at no extra cost).
Black Friday is traditionally the best time for mattress sales but Memorial Day is another big deals day at Saatva. And look out for the Labor Day sales, starting in September, as Saatva has historically ran major deals during this period.
Do I need a Saatva mattress promo code?
You don't need a Saatva promo code to claim your savings when there's a Saatva mattress sale, as all discounts are automatically applied at checkout. Are Saatva mattresses worth it?
In a word, yes. Can you return a Saatva mattress?
Yes. Saatva offers a 365-night mattress trial period, which now matches brands like Nectar and DreamCloud. It's more than enough to get you through the expert-recommended three weeks and will allow you to test the mattress throughout all seasons.
So if you shop the Saatva sale and pick up a mattress for less, yet you don’t love it before the one-year period is up, you can return it. The brand will refund your money and collect the mattress. However, Saatva charges a $99 returns fee, while many other brands offer free shipping and returns.
When is the best time to buy a Saatva mattress?
When comparing sales, it's important to look at the actual price and not just the discount. Like many US bed brands, we saw a rise in ticket prices in the past several years, which means all of Saatva's beds are pricier than they used to be. We've been tracking the cost of all Saatva's mattresses for some time, and you'll find a price tracker table at the bottom of this article, using the queen size as a benchmark.
Since we started tracking the sales, the cheapest price we've seen for the queen-sized Classic is $1,199. But that was many years ago and across the industry mattress prices have risen.
Three years ago we saw the queen Classic discounted to $1,345 on Memorial Day — by Black Friday, the price had snuck up to $1,395 with our exclusive discount. However, because of those higher ticket prices, we aren't expecting prices to return to those historical lows again.
We're constantly searching the Saatva mattress sales and deals, so bookmark this page and keep checking back. And as ever, if you're in a hurry, be aware that there are good Saatva sales all year round, so you might not lose that much by buying now rather than waiting.
How to get the best price on a Saatva mattress
As Saatva does not have the cost of retail stores, it passes on those savings to customers in the form of regular sales. You can find the cheapest mattress prices on their website, but discounts vary depending on the time of year, occasion, mattress MSRP, models, and sizes.
For example, a Saatva mattress sale that knocks $300 off all sizes may be a lackluster discount if you were planning on buying a bigger size or a more expensive model, but it's a good deal for smaller sizes as they tend to only be $200 off. Whereas if you were buying an expensive model or larger size, a 15% off sale will save you more money.
